I’ve laid out five acts. The first is introductory, the last is conclusion. And stuff happens in between. Obviously I am open to changes later.

At this point I’m thinking parallel storylines until the girls meet and the storylines dovetail into one narrative. But to start each chapter will be about one girl, and they will pretty much alternate. So I have big things happening to each girl, but will probably stagger them so it’s not turning points for both girls at the same time. I will have to play with that a bit.

I guess I remember more about the story I had in mind than I thought, because I still haven’t reread my old drafts of it. But I want to read them briefly soon, early enough that I won’t accidentally rewrite word for word when November comes. (I can always add pre-written stuff in later, AFTER my 50k for NaNoWriMo.) I will definitely at least use my character sketches, those are just notes anyway.
