So there is newly a Poughkeepsie area ML for NaNoWriMo (no it’s not me, I can’t be if it’s my first year) and she is working on a pre-kickoff meet up so people can get to know each other and discuss what we want to plan for kickoff, write-ins, TGIO, and whatever else. It’s this Sunday, which is great for me since my Sundays are always open. I’m starting to lose steam already and it’s not even November! (Remember my vow last week to start writing 2k a day, and how since then I wrote just 4k?) I’m hoping the local support will help me stay on top of things… and of course it’s a lot easier for me to write a continuous story than to write a lot of short ones, so I’m hoping that aspect is helpful too.
