It just hit me that today was 01-10-10… I like that.

I will have to post pictures tomorrow, but I did quite a few pages of my workbook today. I loved doing the affirmations page!!! Here’s what I added to Leonie’s “You are radiant” —

• I am special
• I am beautiful
• I am wonderful and powerful… unstoppable.
• I am a flower in bloom.
• I am little but I am mighty.
• I am a force to be reckoned with.
• I am becoming the butterfly I was always meant to be.
• I am loved, I am love.
• My knowledge and my power are astounding to everyone I meet.

I may not always believe all of these, but I want to. One of them, “I am loved, I am love” came to me while I was doing one of Goddess Leonie’s meditations, and if I remember correctly it was an underwater snail who gifted me with that affirmation. The next day my stomach was hurting and as I drove to work, listening to a free sample of Sacred Sound meditation music by Sankofa Song, I steadied my breathing, in through my nose, out through the mouth… thinking my affirmation… in through the nose (“I am loved”), out through the mouth (“I am love”)… Long before I got to work I was centered, and my stomachache was gone. It was beautiful and magical, and I knew that affirmation was mine to keep forever.

I will post my medicine bag tomorrow, as well as my Goddess Habits. I had a lot of fun with those. I did my portrait of love, except I still need to add my picture to the center, and I will post about that page tomorrow too. I did the pages for what my body feels like and what I want it to feel like, as well as how I spend my time and how I want to spend my time, but I’m not posting anything about them here. I reserve that right.

The last thing I want to mention is my beautiful goddess sister, who is just starting to fill in her workbook. Her word of the year is Intention, which I think is a really good one. She has set an intention of writing in her brand new goddess blog, and I hope she’ll stick with it. Please consider checking it out and leaving some encouragement! 🙂
