I love Zoya Ali, so that was the perfect pink to use for Pink Wednesday. (Yes, I am holding packing tape in this photo to avoid the usual claw shot.) And then I decided to practice my dotting tool flower, so I did Zoya Purity for the petals and OPI ElePhantastic Pink for the center of the flower. It didn’t come out as smoothly as my previous one, which I think may be because I didn’t let it dry at all first. Next time I want to let it dry a little so it won’t flow back when I make the little lines for the centers of the petals. And then for good measure, I added a dark pink butterfly rhinestone:
I got several compliments on my nails today too, and the cleanup is much improved from some recent manis I’ve done! 🙂 The key there is patience, which is a skill I don’t naturally have as an Aries. When I work slower I definitely have less mess to fix later.
Accent Nail: Zoya Purity petals, OPI ElePhantastic Pink center, pink butterfly rhinestone
Top coat: Seche Vite
Pretty!
Thanks!
I really like that little butterfly!
Amber, I got the butterflies from TKB Trading. You can find them in their shop here. I also got the Heart the Dots Rhinestones, which are circle rhinestones in a heart-shaped container.
