Dupe Alert! OPI Be A Dahlia Won’t You? and similar sparkly pinks

It should be no surprise that I LOVE sparkly pink polish. I didn’t know just how much until I realized that I have an awful lot of polishes that are similar. I had heard that OPI Be A Dahlia Won’t You? is pretty close to a dupe with China Glaze 108 Degrees. I have both. But I also found three other polishes that could be their sisters! First, here’s a look at the bottles I compared. (All pictures can be clicked on to enlarge.)

From left: OPI Teeny Weeny Pink Bikini, Sinful Colors Forget Now, OPI Be a Dahlia Won’t You, China Glaze 108 Degrees, China Glaze Caribbean Temptation

See? Almost the same. Then I swatched each on a nail wheel for better comparison. I don’t remember if this is two or three coats, but it’s the same number of coats for each color.

And a close-up of the swatches.

Carribean Temptation (far right) is a close match for color, but it doesn’t have all the little sparklies inside. 108 Degrees (second from the right) is very slightly more pink than the others, but on the nail wheel in person you can’t really tell (it’s not as pronounced as it is in the photo). Forget Now (second from the left) is a bit thinner and I wasn’t a big fan of the application, but it does look great. The middle three all have purpley-fuschia tones in the sparklies, whereas Teeny Weeny Pink Bikini (far left) is just reddish-pink. So I’d say the closest dupes are Forget Now and Be A Dahlia Won’t You? but 108 Degrees is a close second. At some point when I am thinning my collection I will probably sell a few, but I can’t decide on the keeper(s) at the moment.

I recently found another almost dupe in the mermaidy teal family. I’ll be posting that one in the next few days.

  1. I almost bought Be A Dahlia won't you while at Ulta, then I noticed the Carribean Temptation and almost bought that instead of the mini Stems pack. I was with my friend who reminded me that I already had the sinful colors dupe so I didn't have to buy either LOL

  2. Yeah, I think with all of the polishes in my post, the differences are not even noticeable to anyone but a polishaholic, lol. But it is definitely not necessary to own more than one or two of them.
